Adventures of Superman is a radio show which aired between 1938 and 1951 on Mutual and ABC with Kelloggs as a sponsor.
Superman has perhaps one of the most famous introductions ever:
“Faster than a speeding bullet! More powerful than a locomotive! Able to leap tall buildings at a single bound!”
“Look! Up in the sky!”
“It’s a bird!”
“It’s a plane!”
“It’s Superman!”
With these words children everywhere would enter into the world of Superman- hero and fighter of good.
Now your kids can listen to the same exact radio programs! The Adventures of Superman is available from archive.org through the Old Time Radio Project. Listeners young and old will be delighted with 170+ episodes from the golden age of radio.
Plus- your kids can color these Superman coloring pages while they listen!
